Awareness camps on Women Rights

One of the primary work of Reincarnation Association is to seek justice for women, safeguard their rights, and promote women’
empowerment. To impart awareness to women and girls regarding their rights, awareness camps are conducted.
Reincarnation Association organised several awareness camp on Women rights, in colabration with YMCA, Delhi.
The objectives of Awareness Camps are:
* Imparted practical knowledge about the basic legal rights and remedies provided under various women related laws.
* Made women aware of the procedure of approaching and utilizing various channels available eg: the Police, the Judiciary.
* The role of Courts in achieving gender equality.
* The role of District Legal Service Authority, Free Legal Aid and Lok Adalats.
* Sensitized Women and Girls about their Rights as provided under the various laws including the Indian Penal Code, 1860;
the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, the Prevention of Domestic Violence to Women Act, 2005 etc.
* Highlighted legal rights and the procedure of access to the legal approach against Child abuse, dowry-related violence, domestic violence, eve-teasing and other related crimes against women prevailing in our society and how to fight these collectively.
