Aashaon Ki Udaan- Providing wings to special kids

Aashaon Ki Udaan, an event organized on the occasion of Holi to recognize few differently-abled children, who despite being physically/mentally challenged possess some special skills. This event was a gathering of some talented special kids from various organizations/NGOs. These kids gave stage performances (singing, dancing, skits etc.- solo & group) to a live audience. The motive of this event was to promote the talent of special kids. Some volunteers also performed to encourage the children.

Post all the performances, there was distribution of gifts/medallions etc. by the respectable Guests of Honor (Valentine Shipley- Singer, Song writer & Social Activist; and Sandeep Arora- Member, Board of Directors & Chairman, Dept.. of S&HD, NDYMCA) to all the kids.

Important Points that were taken care of:
1. Colors and alcoholic beverages were strictly prohibited inside the premise.
2. Visitors were allowed to enter by showing their entry ticket at the entry gate.
3. Volunteers were there 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the program and were wearing batches.
