Awareness Workshop on Sexual harassment

The workshop aimed at:1) Creating awareness about the law, implementation and complaint filing mechanism under the POSH Act.2) Understanding various ways in which workplace sexual harassment can manifest.3) Creating a sense of trust and clarity amongst the participants regarding their rights, duties and responsibilities of the employer. The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Savita Gupta, an anti-sexual harassment expert and Chairperson of Reincarnation Association NGO—an organization that believes that sexual harassment at workplace does not only cause mental and/or physical damage to the person harassed; but also seriously curtails opportunities at work by creating a discriminatory work environment.
