Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s Day Celebration with orphanage kids.

Children’s Day is celebrated around the globe on 14th November every year as it is a birthday of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who had great love and affection for children.
This year around 70 orphaned kids had a gala time on 14th November, 2018, where they celebrated Children’s Day as they never have before. A fun day was arranged out for the kids of Gharonda Orphanage, aged 0 to 15 years at Govind Puram, Ghaziabad.
This event was organized to spread happiness and love among these orphaned kids. A day filled with love and compassion for the children who are deprived of care and attention. The glow seen on their faces showed how delighted they were. It was a great experience for all. This was the first time that these children were entertained.
They were warmly welcomed with refreshments followed by games and fun-filled activities which they thoroughly enjoyed. The kids also staged various cultural program, the event ended up with prize distribution, clothes distribution, sweets, biscuits, chocolates distribution and books distribution.

“Looking at the smiles on the faces of these children is very satisfying for us. This is what we wanted. We hope to see the legacy of Reincarnation Association continued through such activities.” ~ Savita.
